LIMA, Ohio— Superior Credit Union is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Lima Memorial Health System to provide each of its labor and delivery patients with baby boxes and onesies. Superior Credit Union offers high-yield Percy Pig savings accounts for members aged 0-18 and these boxes come with a special offer for their newest members.
“At Superior, we promise to build your financial future and that starts from day one,” explained Phil Buell, President & CEO. “We’re delighted to offer each newborn at Lima Memorial with the baby box and onesie, complete with a $50 offer to open their first Percy Pig savings account.”
Superior Credit Union has been a part of the Lima community since 1954. With 25 total offices across western Ohio, Superior is proud to have six convenient locations right here where it all began. The newest Lima office just opened on Cable Road on Monday, July 20.
“We have seen an increasing number of births across our service area lately," Lima Memorial Family Birth Center, Joan McBride, Clinical Manager shared. "We love providing our new babies and parents with local products that they can use to start their journey. We appreciate Superior Credit Union donating more than 600 boxes to our babies born in 2026 and beyond.”
In addition to their Percy Pig Savings Accounts for young members, Superior Credit Union is also holding their third annual Percy’s Little Piggies Photo Contest this year. All new parents will receive a Superior onesie when they open their baby’s account and are encouraged to send a photo to Marketing@SuperiorCU.com for inclusion. The winning photo will receive $600 into their child’s Percy Pig Account.
