TOLEDO, OH— Superior Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its brand new, full-service office in Toledo, located at 5642 Airport Highway, on Thursday, July 21st at 12 Noon. This branch is now open and is the second Superior location in Lucas County.
Representatives from the Holland-Springfield Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance to conduct the ceremony. Media is strongly encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served following the ribbon cutting.
“Toledo is a vibrant, welcoming community and we are excited to bring our full suite of financial products and services to its residents,” said Phil Buell, President and CEO of Superior. “Our goal is to provide our members with great service at the most convenient locations and our new Toledo branch is an excellent example of that.”
The Toledo location is managed by Jordan Tobias. Tobias has more than five years of experience in banking and has been with Superior since 2018. He is excited about the new technology available to members at the new branch.
“Superior has a proven track record of providing quality financial products while maintaining the highest level of customer service,”
said Tobias. “I’m excited to utilize our interactive teller machines to serve our Toledo members more efficiently while continuing to provide that excellent level of service for years to come.”
K4 Architecture, LLC of Cincinnati was the architecture firm and Schnipke Builders, LLC of Glandorf, Ohio was the general contractor for the new building.
Since visiting Superior Credit Union both Laurie and I have become members and moved money into investments through Superior. With the recent reduction in interest rates, we inquired to see if we could qualify for a better mortgage rate with Superior. We applied online to inquire about refinancing and were contacted within a day by Alisha at Superior. She provided us with plenty of information, answered all our questions and was great to work with. We qualified for a better interest rate which ultimately led to a reduction on our minimum principal and interest payment. This gave us the ability to reduce the time to pay off our mortgage by making the same monthly payment as we were with our previous lender.
